So I went for my second prenatal appointment this morning. We were hoping we'd be able to hear our little peanuts heartbeat, but the doctor insisted that we wait for 2 more weeks to be sure. She said she would rather wait so that we could definately hear it, rather than make us worry if we couldn't hear it today. So we wait until September 11th now. My blood pressure was great, and I lost 4lbs. She also said that if my sickness continued for another week to let her know and she would prescribe me some diclectin. I'm hoping it ends on it's own, soon! She is also scheduling my maternal serum testing that we opted to take. It's blood tests that will tell us if there is anything wrong with the baby (cereberal palsy, down syndrome, etc.). It's a weird sort of test, because it doesn't tell you what they have, but that they it has a 5% chance of having something. So if your in the 5% then you do further testing. The doc calls us 7-10 days later with results. That test should be the week after we hear the heartbeat. Then Oct 11 is the ultrasound!

I hope your sickness passes soon. One day you'll realize it's gone and it will be a distant memory. :)
SO excited things are going well...Pregnancy is insane and can make you feel like you are going insane..but enjoy it...it is 40 weeks of not having a clue what to expect from one day to another...and then that amazing thing is here.....and giving you attitude in no time at all..ahah....Keep being amazed....and have fun....wait until you feel your first movements.....it is all pretty crazy.....love you and take care..
